Last year’s trip to Phuket was an absolute delight, etched into our memories with moments of excitement and adventure. It was an experience that bonded our group and left us yearning for more. This November, we’re thrilled to announce our return to Phuket, but with an added twist – we’re journeying beyond the shores to immerse ourselves in the enchanting Lantern Festival in Chiang Mai. Picture this: the night sky illuminated with biodegradable lanterns, a spectacle that embodies the essence of reconciliation, peace, and forgiveness.
So join us as we embark on another unforgettable journey, returning to the stunning shores of Phuket before venturing into the heart of Thailand to celebrate the Lantern Festival in Chiang Mai. Day 1
ARRIVAL IN PHUKET & WELCOME DINNER
Welcome to Phuket! Our team will meet you at the airport to welcome you and ensure that your transfer to the hotel runs smoothly. Settle in and recharge before joining us for a welcome dinner where you will meet your host and the rest of the group!
Day 2
PHUKET CITY TOUR & THAI COOKING CLASS
After breakfast, set off on a Phuket city tour, exploring the rich history and culture of the old Budha and shopping in old Phuket town. In the afternoon, experience the fragrant and extremely tasty flavours of Thai food and enjoy a fun Thai cooking class. Later, witness the breathtaking sunset at a scenic spot.
Day 3
ELEPHANT SANCTUARY VISIT & FREE AFTERNOON
Today We Spend our morning at an ethical elephant farm, connecting with these majestic creatures in learning about the national animal of Thailand. The afternoon is yours to indulge in leisure activities or party at a floating beach club, with your newly found friends.
Day 4
TOUR OF PHIPHI ISLAND
After an early breakfast we Set sail for an unforgettable tour of Phiphi island, where you will definitely be mesmerized by the famous beauty of crystal-clear waters and pristine beaches spend the day in water, swim the clear waters of Maya Bay, and more adventures on the full day cruise
Day 5
JOURNEY TO CHIANG MAI
Today we bid farewell to Phuket as you board a private transfer to the airport for your flight to Chiang Mai, a city brimming with culture and charm.
Welcome to Chiang Mai! Upon arrival in Chiang Mai. We Enjoy some free time before venturing to the vibrant Night Bazaar, where you can savor delicious street food and indulge in some shopping.
Day 6
VISIT TO PHRA THAT DOI SUTHEP TEMPLE, RAFTING AND LANNA SHOW
Our adventure in Chiang Mai begins after breakfast with a cultural journey, starting with a visit to the awe-inspiring Phra That Doi Suthep Temple.
We Explore the hidden gem of Palad Temple before immersing yourself in the local culture and craftsmanship at Baan Khang Wat.
We will Conclude the day with an exhilarating rafting adventure at Elephant Sanctuary, followed by dinner and show.
Day 7
SIGHT SEEING
It’s another exciting day! After breakfast we set off to discover the wonders of Chiang Mai, beginning with a visit to Maekhachan Hot Spring en route to the iconic White Temple, Rong Khun Temple.
We will then visit the striking Huay Pla Kung Temple and enjoy a scenic lunch at a beautiful cafe.
Ending the day with a visit to Sang Kaew Photiyarn Temple before returning to Chiang Mai, where you can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Loy Krathong.
Day 8
FULL MOON DAY LANTERN FESTIVAL
Today we relax and enjoy a leisurely morning before experiencing the Full Moon Day Lantern Festival in the evening. A beautiful ceremony where we will light up the sky with biodegradable lanterns. The Lantern Festival aims to promote reconciliation, peace, and forgiveness. The holiday marks the first full moon of the new lunar year and the end of the Chinese New Year.
Day 9
DEPARTURE
It is time for us to say goodbye to the city of Chiang Mai as you board a transfer from your hotel to the airport, we hope you will join us again for another Soul Sync adventure!

There are two options to pay for the trip. You can make a full payment immediately upon booking or pay a $350 deposit and the rest in instalments that you are comfortable in running up to 40 days to the trip departure. Deposit is non-refundable if cancellations are made after 40 days to the departure date. Payments can be done via direct bank or mobile transfers – transfer details will be sent upon booking.
We aim to keep the trips small and intimate so we can all get to create long-lasting friendships. 8 to 15 people max depending on the destination.
Yes men are welcome to join unless it is stated as an all girls trip.
Local flights and transportation in the itinerary during the trip are included in the tour package. But since we have guests joining us from all over the world, we are not able to include international flights in the budget to the discovery destination. We can however advise you on the best and affordable flight options.
The itinerary advertised is made in advance in collaboration with travel experts who are locals and with experience from our founders previous trips. We will do our best to stick to the schedule, however some aspects may change due to various aspects out of our control like weather changes or flight cancellations etc. We will act accordingly and find alternative plans during such eventualities.
Rooms will be assigned on double occupancy. All rooms have two single beds with an en suite bathroom. If you wish to have a room on your own, a fee is applicable. Please let us know when making the booking.
Our trips are all about creating a community of long lasting friendships. 6 weeks before the trip, we will create a whatsApp, Telegram or Facebook group where we can mingle and get to know each other and even find a roommate! Rooms will be shared on double occupancy with your travel partner/friend. If travelling alone, you will be paired randomly with another traveler. If you would wish to have your own room, let us know for a single room fee.
A negative Covid-19 test or proof of full Covid-19 is mandatory for all trips. All COVID-19 protocols in the various destination countries must also be observed.
Yes, unless stated otherwise. We are however available to plan similar experiences and discoveries for friends, families or groups if not able to join us on the dates stated.
Due to the preparations involved, prepayments made with the service providers and this being a small group tour, there will be no refund of the deposit. If you cancel your trip, you are welcome to transfer the trip to another person who is interested or to email us to discuss the possibility of joining another trip. We can offer a refund, only if we can find a replacement for your slot. You are eligible for a FULL REFUND of anything above the deposit , if you cancel more than 40 days before the trip. If you are entitled to a refund, Please allow us 7 to 10 working days to process your request. You are also entitled to a FULL REFUND of and any payment made if your deposit payment was made to a waiting list and you never got a slot on the trip.
Yes. Once you secure your slot with a deposit, the payment towards your trip can be paid out in flexible instalments that are comfortable for you. We provide flexible payment plans for all travellers, please let us know what works best for you.
