Day 1
WELCOME TO JAPAN
Upon arrival in Tokyo, you will be greeted at the airport and assisted with your transfer to the hotel. Take some time to freshen up and settle into your rooms. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner where you can savor delicious Japanese cuisine and get to know your fellow travellers.
Day 2
TOKYO SIGHTSEEING AND SUSHI MAKING
Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel to energize yourself for the exciting day ahead. Embark on a visit to Senso-Ji Temple (Asakusa Kannon Temple) and explore the bustling Nakamise Shopping Street. Immerse yourself in the rich history and vibrant atmosphere of these iconic Tokyo landmarks. Dive into the world of Japanese culinary arts with a sushi-making class. Learn the art of crafting sushi from a skilled chef and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Day 3
EXPLORING SHINJUKU, HARAJUKU, AND SHIBUYA
Begin your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel, fueling up for a day of exploration. Visit the tranquil Meiji Jingu shrine, nestled amidst lush greenery. Take in the serene ambiance and learn about Shinto traditions. Enjoy a delectable lunch at Harakuju, known for its trendy fashion and unique. In the afternoon, dive into the vibrant world of Harajuku, where you can explore the quirky shops and immerse yourself in the KAWAII (cute) Japanese pop culture. Later, head to Shibuya, one of Tokyo’s most iconic districts known for its famous scramble crossing and vibrant atmosphere. Take in panoramic views of Tokyo from the Shibuya Sky observation deck, offering breathtaking vistas of the city skyline.
Day 4
KYOTO VIA BULLET TRAIN, KIMONO DRESS UP, AND JAPANESE TEA CEREMONY!
Experience the speed and comfort of the bullet train as you travel from Tokyo to Kyoto. Lunch will be provided on the train. Check into your hotel in Kyoto and take a moment to unwind and settle in. Immerse yourself in Japanese tradition by renting a beautiful kimono, allowing you to fully embrace the cultural experience. Participate in a serene Japanese tea ceremony, where you will learn about the rituals and customs associated with this ancient art form. Take a leisurely walk through the enchanting Gion area, known for its traditional wooden machiya houses and geisha cultures. Explore the historic Kiyomizu area as well. Delight in a captivating Geisha performance and enjoy some free time to explore Kyoto at your own pace.
Day 5
SIGHTSEEING KYOTO’S CULTURAL TREASURES
Embark on a Kyoto City Tour by bus, where you will discover the city’s cultural treasures. Visit the iconic Fushimi Inari Shrine, famous for its thousands of vibrant red torii gates, creating a mesmerizing pathway through the forested hillside. Indulge in a delicious lunch at Arashiyama, a charming district known for its bamboo grooves and scenic beauty. Explore the picturesque Arashiyama area, including the famous Togetsy-kyo Bridge and the enchanting Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. Marvel at the shimmering golden beauty of Kinkakuji temple, also known as the Golden Pavilion, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Return to the hotel and enjoy some free time to relax or explore more of Kyoto at your leisure.

FROM KYOTO TO OSAKA’S VIBRANT CHARM
Today, you will bid farewell to Kyoto and venture to the vibrant city of Osaka. Check out of your hotel in Kyoto and prepare for an exciting day ahead. Embark on a food tour at Kyoto’s Nishiki market, where you can indulge in a variety of delicious local specialties. Proceed to Osaka by train and savor the scenic journey. Arrive in Osaka and check in to your hotel. Take some time to relax and settle into your new surroundings. Visit the majestic Osaka Castle, an iconic symbol of the city’s rich history and architecture.

OSAKA CASTLE AND SHOPPING EXTRAVAGANZA
Start your day with a satisfying breakfast at the hotel, preparing yourself for a day of exploration. Immerse yourself in the grandeur of Osaka Castle, exploring its historic halls and beautiful gardens. Visit the lively districts of Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, and Namba, renowned for their vibrant atmosphere and fantastic shopping opportunities. Indulge in some retail therapy and savor the delicious local cuisine.
Day 8
DEPARTURE
After a wonderful exploration of Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka, it’s time to say goodbye to Japan. Enjoy your final breakfast at the hotel, and then proceed to the airport for your departure, depending on your flight time. There are two options to pay for the trip. You can make a full payment immediately upon booking or pay a $350 deposit and the rest in instalments that you are comfortable in running up to 40 days to the trip departure. Deposit is non-refundable if cancellations are made after 40 days to the departure date. Payments can be done via direct bank or mobile transfers – transfer details will be sent upon booking.
We aim to keep the trips small and intimate so we can all get to create long-lasting friendships. 8 to 15 people max depending on the destination.
Yes men are welcome to join unless it is stated as an all girls trip.
Local flights and transportation in the itinerary during the trip are included in the tour package. But since we have guests joining us from all over the world, we are not able to include international flights in the budget to the discovery destination. We can however advise you on the best and affordable flight options.
The itinerary advertised is made in advance in collaboration with travel experts who are locals and with experience from our founders previous trips. We will do our best to stick to the schedule, however some aspects may change due to various aspects out of our control like weather changes or flight cancellations etc. We will act accordingly and find alternative plans during such eventualities.
Rooms will be assigned on double occupancy. All rooms have two single beds with an en suite bathroom. If you wish to have a room on your own, a fee is applicable. Please let us know when making the booking.
Our trips are all about creating a community of long lasting friendships. 6 weeks before the trip, we will create a whatsApp, Telegram or Facebook group where we can mingle and get to know each other and even find a roommate! Rooms will be shared on double occupancy with your travel partner/friend. If travelling alone, you will be paired randomly with another traveler. If you would wish to have your own room, let us know for a single room fee.
A negative Covid-19 test or proof of full Covid-19 is mandatory for all trips. All COVID-19 protocols in the various destination countries must also be observed.
Yes, unless stated otherwise. We are however available to plan similar experiences and discoveries for friends, families or groups if not able to join us on the dates stated.
Due to the preparations involved, prepayments made with the service providers and this being a small group tour, there will be no refund of the deposit. If you cancel your trip, you are welcome to transfer the trip to another person who is interested or to email us to discuss the possibility of joining another trip. We can offer a refund, only if we can find a replacement for your slot. You are eligible for a FULL REFUND of anything above the deposit , if you cancel more than 40 days before the trip. If you are entitled to a refund, Please allow us 7 to 10 working days to process your request. You are also entitled to a FULL REFUND of and any payment made if your deposit payment was made to a waiting list and you never got a slot on the trip.
Yes. Once you secure your slot with a deposit, the payment towards your trip can be paid out in flexible instalments that are comfortable for you. We provide flexible payment plans for all travellers, please let us know what works best for you.
